Now, let's add and read some of our favorite quotes, cool?
This page is rather simple. It is a page of quotes. As I add a quote, I will always give full aknowledgement to where I read it or heard it, plus, I will make sure the quote's author is always (if known) given full credit. The thing I feel you may find most interesting is where I find so many of these quotes, plus, what about each quote caught my attention enough to learn it and, to even study the quote and its author.
Here is where I need help, that is putting up your favorite or important quotes. This includes any quotes that you have written or mantras you live by. With my limited knowledge of HTML, I am kind of stuck in how to get YOUR important quotes on this page. One would think that I could just write the HTML that allows you to enter the quote and its information, then you would hit, "ADD," and all would be grand.
Alas, I have no idea on how to do what, though, I wish I did possess that ability (coming soon, really). This means, until I get help with this, I am asking you to just send them to me at quotes@stephencarey.com, and, if you remember, please put the words, "quote" or "qoutes" in the subject line, if not, no big deal.
I also (I hope) have thingexist.com's daily quotes appearing at the top of this page. Again, we come into the HTML issue. Yet, I have to try to make at least that work.
I really do hope that you will send me some of your favorite quotes or mantras or whatever, that you find important to you in whatever way. Also, if you care to, please tell us what makes the quote a bit special for you. Okay?Finally, please let me know what personal information you want on the page with your quote: your favorite on-line user name, a link to your site/blog, a link to one of your on-line personalities, Twitter and Facebook user names and so on. I will only add the information you give me clear instructions to include with the quote or quotes. This is a very solid promise.
